I’m Shelley, the woman behind S. Armstrong. I’m a Gen-X girl with a gothic streak, a soft spot for fiercely devoted men, and a habit of getting far too attached to the people I put on the page.
I write the kind of love that stays with you: complicated hearts, unexpected connections, and people who find a home in each other. Sometimes it’s tender. Sometimes it turns up the heat. Either way, I want you to care about who these people are long after the last page.
When I’m not putting fictional people through emotional turmoil, I’m making chainmail or writing lyrics. Apparently, making things one ring, one line, or one stubborn character at a time is just how I’m wired.
